UPDATE: Still working grate!In Feb 2020 I bought a Royal Gourmet CC1830F Charcoal Grill with Offset Smoker. Been using it regularly for these last 3 1/2 years.Lately, the ash/drip pan has degraded badly enough that I needed to replace it. The rest of the charcoal grill is in excellent condition. I looked first for replacement parts from Royal Gourmet, but they only sell complete new models. I can't even get parts from their newer models that would likely fit.So I measured the dimensions of the old ash pan at 24" x 12" roughly, the room inside the Grill unit itself where the pan hangs is at 27 3/4" x well over 13"or more.I came across this Ash Pan in all the listings and it was the cheapest (yet looks like about every other one of this size, plus I got a discount of a couple bucks on top of that. It arrived today and I installed it and it's perfect.Because it's larger than the original I have to drop the left side, with the original hangers on it, in first at an angle, then shift it to the left a little to drop the right side in.The Original hangers were not designed for this pan's rung pattern, which goes from front to back (the OEM rungs went all the way across the grill), but they do work fine.It's important for the hangars to be straight up and down so the lid will close properly with the warming basket's connecting rods, so that they do not bind on the hangers when closing the lid. They were expecting roughly 24 inches and had wiggle room as necessary.To solve this was easy.| |_| |I hooked the right OEM hanger inward under the 2nd and 3rd rung of the pan grid from the right. This also made the pan real stable since it is butted up against the right inside of the Grill.|_|_| |On the left side, I hooked the OEM hanger under the 1st and 2nd rung of the pan from the left for the hanger to be straight.Both hangers are straight up and down, lid closes, pan is snug and sturdy.I have yet to use it, and one concern I have is about the powder coat (paint) so I will burn a set or two of coal in it before cooking food over it.Looks better quality and size thickness metal than the original. hope I get more than 3 years out of it. :)

Bought to replace old ash pan.Pro: fits great, the size is exactly the same as original.Con: Paint is not heat resistant. Probably will not last more than two or three years.

Fit perfectly as a replacement for our rusted-out Chargriller Ash Pan. Excellent option to replacing the entire grill, I highly recommend this product! It seems very slightly smaller than the original but barely noticeable. Just make sure it is the right size for your model and you won't be sorry you made this purchase.

This smoker/charcoal grill was in my neighbor’s trash. I decided to recondition it. It was really dirty, but the ash catch in the charcoal section was the only item that was in bad shape. It’s not flimsy or poorly constructed and looks like it should work just fine.
