Delivery was delayed and the tracking info via Amazon very poor, so I belatedly read some reviews, was a bit alarmed by some of them but I can now see they are mostly due to incorrect expectations. These products are exceptionally good Value, and good Quality given the very competitive price level, but: 1. Don't expect an easy IKEA-style self-assembly - be ready for a substantial DIY effort. 2. What you get is raw, smooth-sanded timber - you can leave it like that for a quick, cheap'n'cheerful bed but if your standards are a bit higher, need to plan an extra couple of days to apply stain/varnish/wax or paint. 3. Top tip: only assemble it in the room where you plan to use it! They're tricky to get through doors and round corners!
