Very sleek and has a release button for closing. The knife came extremely sharp but I haven't had to sharpen yet. I purchased two more since receiving this knife. For my son and a friend. I previously owned a Benchmade automatic for about ten years but lost it. A new Benchmade is approximately $275.00 to purchase. Mine cost $100.00 yen years ago. The Cvivi cost about a third of the cost of a Benchmade.
