Solo TCK-1 DIY Electric Guitar Kit

Great kit. It would have been a good guitar had I just stained or painted it and put it together. I took the kit a bit further. Designed and printed a bracket for the neck pickup so I could lose the tele pick guard. I also upgraded the bridge and control plate cover, and drilled so the strings load through the body. There was a blemish with one of the machine heads, but a quick call to Solo and they had a replacement in the mail the next day. Great customer service! Great sounding guitar!

I decided to give this company a try for my next build. It was the right decision for me very nice packaging and the online videos are very helpful. Thanks solo I will for sure buy from you guys again.

Truss rod stripped out upon 1st set up. Had to order a new neck that night. Very disappointed.

The input jack broke after I soldered it. What a joke. I plug the guitar in a part of it snaps off. Get what you pay for though. Not a bad build, just shoddy Chinese garbage parts. Should have known better. Maybe you will have better luck.
