The rod has a good paint finish, some good components and plenty of guides; however I do not like the fact the tip is small (which will probably mess-up using a slip-knot/bobber rig) as the knot will loosen going through the small guides, and the guides primarily are only of two sizes (small). Usually the guides get progressively bigger as you move towards the reel seat. The illustration of the rod did not show the progression of the guides and you couldn't tell by the description the size of the rod tip or guides. I think it was priced right, but I would've paid a few bucks more for some better components.
