Each filter only lasted 5 days before the water pressure started to fade, after 7 days they had to be changed because the water pressure was so poor it was impossible to take a shower. Oter filters I have used in the same price range last a little over a month. I will not repurchase this product. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Easy to Install + Bonus Items *by H***S on Reviewed in the United States on July 22, 2018* I ordered this item because we are on well water and the water is hard. My hair always seems dry and both my husband and I suffer from dry skin. I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the box and found that in addition to the unit and and a replacement filter, it also came with a showerhead, a nylon scrubby back washer, and plumbers tape. I needlessly ordered a roll of plumbers tape figuring I wouldn't be lucky enough not to need it.The filter was easy to install for this old woman who finds that nothing is simple these days, and within minutes it was up and running using no tools, and a slight wrap of plumbers tape insured no leaks.I took a shower that evening after installing and found that the water pressure was just slightly less than usual, but this is to be expected with a filter. Because of the hard water, shampoo and soap doesn't lather well so I figured that would be a good test. The shampoo still didn't lather well, but the real test will be whether it helps our dry hair and skin as time goes on. One other thing I will mention is that the unit lowers the showerhead about 4", so if you are tall and your shower is just the right height now, expect to duck a bit. I'm short and itactually is better for me.All in all I am pleased with the unit even though the jury is still out as to whether it will help. I will come back and update in a month or two, but for now I give it 5 stars because I am very pleased with the ease of installing and the bonus items in the box.Update: It's been about six weeks since I installed this filter and I have to say that my hair feels so much softer and shinier. I am using about half the shampoo I was using pre-filter. These improvements tell me that the water is softer and the filter is working. The first time I used the shower after installing the filter, I mentioned that I didn't get much improvement in the soap lathering, well..duhh..when all else fails, read the instructions. I missed the part about flushing out the filter before using it. After a couple of times of using the filter the improvement in lathering was noticable. As for my itchy dry skin, not much improvement, but I think air conditioninng and living in the middle of the woods contributes more to that than just the water.Just for the improvement in my hair, this filter is worth it. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Easy installation. *by K***A on Reviewed in the United States on July 25, 2018* The filter was very easy to install - there was no leak. I did not even have to use the included teflon tape. No immediate magical difference in the water. I will have to see if there is a long term difference - I will come back in a few weeks or months to update.There were bonus items in the box - including a replacement filter and a wide showerhead. The filter had a nice finish and looks good.
