Coming to the functionality of this adapter, there were absolutely no flaws whatsoever. It performed as one would expect but the performance also depends on the HDD/SSD one uses this with. I did find one thing odd though; though it said in the description that one has to plug in the power supply for any kind of drives to be worked with, it worked completely fine with the 2.5 inch drives even without the power supply. Of course, this would not be possible for the 3.5 inch drives as they actually do require additional power as the SATA connector will not be able to supply enough power to run the drive. This is just something technical and is probably something that every technician/tech-freak already knows. Of all the similar devices I've seen online I picked this personally because it looked better and also described the functionality that I wanted.
