I bought these for a long distance bike tour across country. They are all beat up now with holes and broken buckles but man oh man have they served their purpose and I have more than gotten my money's worth out of them. The largest size (yellow) was big enough to hold a sleeping bag and small fleece blanket, the middle size (red) were perfect for clothing, first aid kits, etc. The smallest size (blue) were just right for pocket use, I would put my cellphone, wallet, maps, ammo, and important stuff I may need quickly. I would always wrap the important stuff in a ziploc bag or two as well before placing inside these. I flipped over a kayak once with my cellphone and wallet in the little blue one in my side pocket, my first thought was "Oh no," but when I got out of the river and checked everything was bone dry. These have kept my clothing, sleeping gear, fire kit, fishing tackle, journals, etc. etc. etc. out of the elements. And just maybe, on multiple adventures kept me alive. I have completely abused them, they are now filled with holes and tears, and I think I only have one or two out of my original six purchased. But I still use the ones I do have to this day, take them on days hikes, just in case the rain sets in for things like my phone and wallet. After six years, the liner has started to disintegrate on my most commonly use bags (heavily used for 2 to 3 weeks per year during vacations). Wish the liner was more durable, but they do keep my items dry even in the wet part of a scuba diving boat (although I always had my dry bag stored in a gear bag that would get wet). Between 2018 to 2020 I went everywhere from camping, Scandinavia, DC, UK, the Pacific, NYC, etc. I lived out of a small carry-on but I always took these bags with us in our luggage. They keep things divided in my big bag. They are wonderful. I’ve used them to hold foods, ice for an injury, dirty clothes, sea shells, etc etc they were used, and used but they show no wear, and they wash up well. My whole family uses my little bags and and I’ve just ordered a 3rd set because everyone in my family wants to use them on our trips. One night we were in Time Square and decided to buy flowers from a local market to give to my daughter after her performance in Carnegie hall. I filled the bag half full of napkins and water and put the flower stems down in the water and then tightened the mouth of the bag around the stems. I then went to the concert, and put the flowers on the floor by my seat. After the two hour concert, the flowers looked great and the bag was still dry on the outside. Super impressed. These little bags are the best for how inexpensive they are. I’m not worried about losing them because I know I can replace them for not too much money. **Q: Would a 14 inch laptop be able to fit in one of the dry bags?** A: The largest bag is 10 3/8" x 15". This measurement is the widest part of the bag before the tapered end. Also this is with the bag completely flattened. So depending on the dimensions of you laptop, this may work. I would guess that the dimensions would more realistically be more like 9" x 13 1/2" comfortably fitting in the bag with the top folded to seal... Hope this helps. **Q: Is reverse use possible? to fill with bag ice while camping and keep veggies fresh but not waterlogged from ice melt. (No freezer for gel packs.)** A: Haven't tried to soak them yet but they've worked great in the rain and with orders as well. I use them as bear bags. It is not as thick as some of other ones, but it is also not as pricey as those. On a recent trip to the lake, it did the job. It kept the valuables water free, although there was a bit of condensation on the inside. You cannot blame that on the quality or material since it is supposed to be impervious to water. May have been from the air I did not push out, since I wanted this to float in water and not get lost. 3 sizes for different things.
