If your charging port on your OP5 isn’t working you need this!! *by R*** on Reviewed in the United States on March 5, 2020* After almost 3yrs the charging port on my sons OP5 started getting wonky, would not hold cable in place tightly and would only charge intermittently or not at all. I purchased this replacement and it worked perfectly. The new charging port connector holds the cable securely and charges the unit as it should. It was easy to install with the proper tools and guidance from the videos available online. The replacement looks pretty much identical to the oem cable that was in the phone. I could barely tell the difference and included photos of both for this review. The first picture is the item I received. In the second picture the original/oem cable is the upper one, the replacement I purchased is the lower one. When I gave my son his phone back to try it out he was amazed at how well the repaired port now works. It is β€œjust like new”!! I don’t write a lot of reviews, but was throughly impressed with this purchase. I would not hesitate to purchase from this seller again. The product is as good as original equipment, and I don’t expect there should be any issues for another 3 years due to normal wear and tear. This product is of great quality and arrived very quickly. I see no reason to give it any less than 5 stars!! The screw holes for headphone jack were in the wrong place (I had to snap them off) and the headphone jack is too close to the charge port so I had to clamp the phone to close it - scary, but I didn't break the screen 😁 ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Worked as expected. *by H***E on Reviewed in the United States on April 18, 2019* I am not sure if it's my device or a common problem with Oneplus 5 but I experienced that the charging port needed a very hard push to get fast charging(Dash charging was gone). It started taking over 4-5 hours for the device to fully charge. Then I saw a youtube video of replacing the charging port(which was the root cause of the problem). I ordered this it took me about 30 minutes to replace the unit(I already had the mini screwdriver set, yes you need very sophisticated screwdrivers to remove the back cover of the device if you don't have those then first look at youtube for guidance) and not I can enjoy fast charging just like a Brand New One plus 5. I was a little concerned about the Sound JAck as the unit is a combination of both but both fast charging and headphone jack work perfectly. Gave Five stars.
