## Description

A+B Epoxy putty 14.0 oz. Is an easy-to-use, two part putty you simply mix and mold like clay - no complicated weighing or measuring required. Easy 1:1 cut what you need mix ratio, form it into any shape. It hardens in one hour and makes a final, steel-hard cure in 12 hours. Can cure under water. Provides a durable and permanent bond to: fiberglass, concrete, Brick, stone, glass, porcelain, Tile, ceramics, pottery, metal, copper, chrome, iron, wood, most PVC and countless other materials. Mixing and handling: make sure the application surface is free of gas, grease, oil, rust, dirt, and other debris. Roughing or sanding the surface is recommended. Mold the epoxy to the approximate shape of the repair and apply firmly, sealing and smoothing thoroughly and securely. Using rezolin a + b epoxy putty is amazingly easy, simply cut off equal parts of the a + b bars. Knead and roll in your hands or on a clean working surface until the colors merge. Make sure there are no streaks. Gloves are advisable for mixing and molding the putty products. Rubbing water on the surface will yield a professionally looking smooth surface. Let it harden and cure for the specified time: one hour hardening and 12 hour curing time for regular a + b epoxy. Clean all tools, reusable gloves, and hands, if necessary, with soap and warm water immediately after use. Some suggested uses: fill cracks or holes in decks and broken tiles - cures under water fill cracks and holes in pool or spa and underwater plumbing, pumps and drains - no draining required repair breaks, cracks or leaks in all types of plumbing fixtures and ceramics - tubs, toilets, sinks, tiles, caulking seals leaks in gasoline tanks and air conditioner systems repair all types of fiberglass cracks, holes and breaks insulating cable splices. Can be drilled and sanded once fully cured. Putty that is cold or below 70F will be harder to mix because it is stiffer and will take a little longer to set. Putty that is above 90F will be easier to mix because it is softer, but it and will have a shorter work life and will set in a shorter amount of time. Expect a steel hard cure overnight with the regular set putty and in about 3 - 5 hours with the fast set putty.

Review: Works great - Very good product!
Review: I LOVE this stuff - I had both a pool and a shower with cracked tile, missing grout and serious leaks. I used it to seal every seam around every tile going around the top of the pool. Also to seal cracks in tiled shower floor. I applied with my bare hands (gloves are recommended) because I found it easier to apply. Others have mentioned how it gets slippery when wet. I used this to my advantage. It won't stick to wet fingers, so you can run your fingers over it very easily to apply pressure and smooth the result. I would lay down a bead log (formed by rolling the putty in your hands) and then run my fingers along the bead to press it into the crack. By adjusting the pressure and direction of push, I could shift the putty around to even the thickness and make it smooth. It was easy to get into a rhythm with minimal frustration. This in contrast to silicon-type sealants which stick like crazy to everything. For an amateur like me, the sticky stuff gets all over everything. It does require a touch to get the amount of pressure just right so that it sticks to tile. In the cracks is easy, but it will stick just fine to tile but you have to press firmly but not so firmly that it just smooshes the putty. The cure time is good. It's slower than the grey plumbers putty I use, but that's good. It comes in a measured 8 inch flat bar and I could work with 1/2" at a time. When I had to glom on a bunch where there was a large gap, I worked with 1" at a time, but with this much there is no dawdling. Working underwater is fine. You do have to put your attention into the epoxy mix. I got a little overconfident after a while and put less oomph into my mixing and produced one batch that looked right, but it cured very, very slowly. When mixed well, it's hard after an hour and after a few hours it's like rock. My poorly mixed batch was still scratch-able after 6 hours, but eventually hardened.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Can this be used to sculpt figures?**
A: It has the consistence of putty, after mixing. I was able to mold the mixture into the desired shape for a repair in the shower. I would think that you could sculpt a figure, but not having the talent to do so, my answer would be a diffident maybe.

**Q: I want to use this for a mold, is there a recommended release agent?**
A: I’m not sure exactly what a release agent Is, but I use this epoxy frequently. When applying it shapes best when wet. Water does not interfere w the curing process

**Q: Can it be used on pool skimmer (plastic) walls?**
A: Yes, I have used A+B epoxy for years. Most pool supply stores highly recommend it. I first bought it precisely to repair a pool skimmer. The skimmer is PVC and it works like a champ. get the grit, twigs out the area and go to it; it works under water. When I sold the house 12 years later it was still holding. Since then I have used this putty epoxy to re-grout around the bath tubs, showers sinks , etc. IMO it is a once in a lifetime grout job, it never mildews, doesn't stain, cleans as easy as tile, and doesn't wear away like hard (sand) grout, and it is easier to apply and shape than silicone or regular grout.

**Q: How long should one knead the A, B components together before applying? (Until they "wad" is warm\supple ? 5 minutes. The box does not indicate). Thx**
A: It depends on the amount of putty you have taken from A and B.. Usually 1-2 minutes is enough unless you are mixing a large amount. try to knead them till they become on color but if you have shades, it would still work.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A+B Epoxy is a 'forever' fix.
*by B***E on January 22, 2023*

-Have used this up in a rafter bay above the plate line where it is next to impossible to sweat a copper repair. After draining down I emory cloth sanded the surfaces, cleaned them off and put a feathered in patch of A+B epoxy over the whole leaky joint. Use a wet finger to taper in the edges to zero, let it all set up and charge away! That was 2002 and still holding nicely. -Have used it on my Grand Banks Alaskan to make concave fillets in all of the inside corners before paint- 2007 and holding like they were always there. Has helped in cleaning and kept the mold at bay. -In the swimming pool to place fittings, PVC joints that just won't hold, broken dishes and tools. You name it, A+B is the best!
