But apparently, I am one of the people who has a reaction to Chicory Root Extract. It gives me SEVERE stomach cramps -- to the point I was doubled over in pain. At first I didn't connect it to these bars, so I continued to eat them. Now it has been 48 hours since I last had one and I am still in pain. Very small. Amazon and Trader Joes sells a similar bar that is truly a bar. You could eat half if you want smaller bar or, share it. This one is just for one person and not a big man. Like candy bars, these type of bars need indentations/crevices in them to split them in half. Make a bigger bar!- Coating, the white stuff, looks NOTHING like the image on the box. Sometimes it is so thin it is barely visible. Again, Trader Joes and Amazon sells one that has a nice coating (as do other brands).- If you do not want chocolate, this is the only option this brand sells! How about a blueberry pie type bar plus a peanut or sesame or other seed based bar too?- Needs way more fiber. Americans and Europeans get plenty of protein. But they do not get enough FIBER in their diet. Not enough by any measure. You cannot have too much fiber in a day. So more fiber in this bar could A) make it bigger! B) make the customers healthier!- The company that makes these needs to hire a professional chef to make it palatable and enjoyable in texture. It is like eating wax over saw dust now. But these bars do not need to be so unpleasant a mouth fee to consume!The only good thing is that, it does fill you up in a pinch.
