It is pretty. It is sturdy. I've uploaded a photo. I have 3 pair of sunglasses. The first on the right is less than 1 3/4" wide and fits in the built-in case in my car. This case is way too big for it. The middle pair of sunglasses is about 2" wide and fits perfectly in this case...w/ room to spare. I slide the case into the side pocket of my car door. It barely fits. The 3rd pair on the left is 2 1/2" wide and barely squeezes into this case. I have to sort of work the lid closed, and the case slides on the glass, so it would probably eventually mark the lenses. I just keep them in the glove compartment instead. Hope this helps someone decide if this is the right size for their sunglasses.Update: After 15 months, the hinge has given out.
