Review: Amazing rendering capability - I purchased this graphics card to set the standard for my custom computer. I use it for REVIT and Rhino. The quality left me speechless after my first use. Where has this card been all my life? SO happy to use this with projects. Fast. The biggest issue I have with it is I had to use Windows 7. The computer I had with it originally had windows 8 and would not even turn on. It requires a more powerful power cord. Mine is 700 watt. It is a bit pricey but it is professional grade. I buy it from desertcart.com and desertcart site say"This item is no longer eligible for return" and I'm not sure where to go from here I send Email to AMD Customer Care and they reply to me and tell me Maybe I have driver corrupted? ++++++++++++++++++++++++ Your service request : SR #{ticketno:[8200618558]} has been reviewed and updated. Response and Service Request History: I understand that you have trouble installing the graphics driver correctly in system running Firepro W5000. If this is incorrect, please let me know as the information provided may change. The problem could be a corrupted graphics install file in the OS that prevents newer driver from installing. Please use driver cleaning tool to completely remove all existing graphics files and update to our latest Catalyst 14.12 to fix the problem. a. Removing drivers: 1. Right click on the left bottom of the desktop (Click the start menu) and Open the control panel then Programs and Features or Uninstall a program. 2. In the list select AMD Catalyst Install manager then click change. 3. In the window that opens click next and then select the option `Express Uninstall All AMD Software'. 4. Once this process completes restart the computer. ++++++++++++++++++++++++ how can I have a driver conflict or corrupted and the AMD FirePro W5000 is the first graphic card in my new PC?! they tell me to install the latest Catalyst 14.12 and I install it and the card did not work and I get Cool Blue screen I tried the card in win8.1 "SafeMode" and the card did not work well I send another Email to "AMD Customer Care" and they Refuse to reply to me anymore? I am very frustrated. Can I ship this Card to AMD? or they did not allow Replacement? PS: I will Update this review if I get any Help :(

I purchased this graphics card to set the standard for my custom computer. I use it for REVIT and Rhino. The quality left me speechless after my first use. Where has this card been all my life? SO happy to use this with projects. Fast. The biggest issue I have with it is I had to use Windows 7. The computer I had with it originally had windows 8 and would not even turn on. ### ⭐⭐ problematic at best

bought this to use in solidworks, it was well reviewed and seemed to compare to the Nvidia Quadro 4000 but at half the price. I usually stick with Nvidia because I have never had an issue with one of their cards. this AMD card was dismal. my gaming GTX470 did better in Solidworks than this "workstation" card did. I had the latest dirvers for ir recommended by solidworks and it still performed worse than the gaming card. while using the AMD card I suffered many BSOD forcing reboot and losing work that hadnt been saved yet. reverted back to the GTX470 and no more BSOD or crashing of any kind.the AMD was returned for refund.
