I can compare this to Sony Acid and MS Movie Maker (I think it's now called MS Live). Sony Acid may have a few more features but is not the least bit user friendly and is not very intuitive. MS is far too basic and does a poor job handling large video files.Cyberlink PD10 does a great job at addressing what Acid and MS lack without the excessive cost of Adobe software.Good value, ease of use and versatility. It was working out of the box. Now a few months later - the software is shutting down when I try to produce a video.I have been emailing customer service for 2 weeks - it takes them 2+ days to respond to an email. They provided a detailed list of instructions - which I completed and confirmed back. Then they send me the same instructions again.I am so frustrated with subpar service. I can pay $30 to technical support, but that is half of what I paid for this software. I would have preferred to buy a more expensive program with better customer service now looking back. ### ⭐ Power Director 10 should be discontinued *by M***I on Reviewed in the United States on August 19, 2013* I was never able to get Power Director to load; the wave editor would load but not the Power Director editor. It keeps asking me to register, then when I try to bring up PD it flashes up for about five seconds and then vanishes. I can get help because the software won't allow me to, so in turn I don't get customer service, which, by the way is over half of what I paid. After looking at the other reviews I should think that Amamzon would take a look at the problem and stop selling it.
