The flaps are not wide and broad enough to fold over the pillow edges and enclose them at all. It's only a narrow strip that folds over, and it is flimsy, so these pillowcases behave just like regular flat pillowcases do. I fluff and tighten everything and then when I put my pillow back down the pillowcase just falls back off of the edge again.
