You'd probably want to get some molded plastic "raceway" and attach that to the wall, then run the wires in that. Most are easily paintable to match the wall and would have self-stick adhesive to secure them to the wall. You could screw them down but be careful the screw heads don't chafe the wiring inside the raceway. You can also get some flat-ish ones you can run across a doorjam.
