The blades do not stay sharp very long. Not impressed. i would return if I could. Found someone to sharpen my blades. Works fine

Beware of this mower. Had numerous issues and numerous trips to the mower repair shop shortly after purchasing this machine and still ongoing issues. Fix one thing, another breaks, over and over and over and over. One of the two belts broke after literally just a few minutes during the first use rendering it unusable with a partially mowed lawn. Fixed that after finally receiving a new belt from the manufacturer. Roland from Allett USA was nice and helpful to get that to me. Next trip to the repair shop was to fix the starter pull cord which became detached from the flywheel, so when you pull the cord (with zero resistance) all it does is retract back but not start the engine. More trips to and from the repair shop, thought I was back in action, but then the throttle cable broke after a few more hours of use, the rivet which holds it in place near the handle sheared straight through the poorly designed plastic piece that somebody designed to hold it in place. Had to have that repaired also after waiting for parts from the manufacturer. Thought I was back in action and only a couple more hours of use, the height adjustment broke, dropping it to the lowest height possible, and my worker did not realize in time and scalped a large portion of the lawn. Still need to contact the manufacturer about fixing that and it's the straw that finally got me to write a review to warn others. I'm so sick and tired of this piece of garbage. DO NOT BUY THIS MACHINE. You will be disappointed. I bought just about all the attachments and now I have so many paperweights that I am ready to toss not only the mower but all the attachments in the dumpster and just move on with my life and suck up my losses. And that reminds me, don't let the quick change attachments concept fool you. There is nothing quick about it. You need to disassemble the machine with a wrench to change attachments, which takes considerable time and a wrench. Nothing quick about it at all.Disclaimer: I have the model 20B which is a few inches wider than the 17B and apparently still not found on Amazon by any sellers. I bought it with all the attachments for $3,461.96 from supersod.com
