Crafted from rugged polymer and weighing less than an ounce, these covers fit a wide range of optics, ensuring durability and precision in the field. ## Description Butler Creek Flip-Open Scope Covers are the benchmark in lens protection for hunters and stalkers who cannot afford to nurse a fogged or scratched objective in the field. Each cover forms an airtight seal around the scope bell, keeping out rain, condensation, dust and debris until the moment you need to take the shot — at which point a single thumb-press on the spring hinge silently swings it clear in an instant. The eyepiece cover features a distinctive red button for confident one-handed operation in low light; the objective cover opens via a push-tab system. Both covers weigh less than an ounce and are made from rugged polymer that will take hard knocks without cracking. Sizing is by the outside diameter of each scope bell, and a comprehensive range of numbered sizes means there is a fit for virtually every major optic on the market. Covers are sold individually, so you can mix objective and eyepiece sizes to match your scope exactly. Fits the majority of major optics manufacturers' tubes. Review: All in all the product does as it says. Service was good. - Seems to be just right for the job but s*** myself when it did not fit. The materials is a little stiff and the outer circumference of the cap was the same as the scope. It is a snug fit in this case so you might feel a bit better if you take the next size up or soften the cap in warm water but it does go on with a little patients. As it takes a while for it to come through I would suggest going for the next size up and at least you can shim it up with tape. From the manufactures a softer more pliable material would be better for greater expansion. And to make it easier. The sizing chart for me was a little confusing the best way would be to measure the scope outer circumference and the Chart should show the inner circumference. SFP BTR-2 even tho it doesn't matter incase anyone was wondering.** A: I do not know. Best thing to do is measure the width of the lens housing with a micrometer for best results. Go by the size chart for the correct one. If the measurement falls in between 2 sizes, go with the smaller one, it will usually spread some for a nice tight fit. **Q: I have a vortex 4-12x44 which is 1.71”(43.43mm) and 2.01”(51.05mm) would I get a size over or under?** A: The vortex website should have the exact model or size number for these. The caps are flexible so if you get one that’s smaller it will be a tight fit. **Q: I have a redfield revenge 3x9x42 what eye piece cover do i need** A: Objective size 30, Eye piece size 19 **Q: Anyone know which would fit a bushnell banner dusk till dawn 3x9x50?** A: The best thing I can tell you is to totally ignore the chart on the butler creek website. I tried to rely on it and had to return a set. Your best bet is to find the scope you want to fit them to on Amazon, and ask your question there. You might even be able to find the answer in the existing Q&A under that product. That's how I found the correct size for my Nikon prostaff BDC 3-9 and 4-12. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ All in all the product does as it says.
