The hitch attaches to 4 holes already in the frame, 2 of which were already threaded, but not the other 2. I ended up buying a M12 to thread these other holes. **Q: I've read 2 reviews about bolts not screwing in correctly last year. Has this been corrected?** A: I purchased in May 2019. Bolts were not self-tapping. You will need to get a tap set with m12x1.75 taps.
