Also small enough to be mobile so can be taken anywhere. ### ⭐ 1.0 out of 5 stars Drops internet connection *by J***N on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 4 June 2019* Having used this Amlogic S905X android box from purchase for the first 6 months I was very happy with it's performance but then for some unknown reason over the past few weeks it would drop internet connection after 20 minutes from start up and freeze the last scene on the TV screen, this was on both WI-FI and hardwire. Recycling the power was the only way to reconnect. To make sure there was no issue at my end I reconnected my old M8S android box and it worked flawlessly. Knowing all was fine with my internet I factory reset the Amlogic S905S loaded the applications and connected the internet but the fault was still present. Not wishing to give a negative review without contacting the seller first of all I emailed them six days ago detailing all of the above but as yet I have had no reply. These are not very expensive items but I did take awhile in choosing this one as an upgrade from my old M8s box purely because of the extra storage and would have expected it to last a lot longer than 6 months, to say I'm disappointed with it's performance and also annoyed in not having a reply to my email is a bit of an understatement. ### ⭐⭐ 2.0 out of 5 stars Slow, lagging and plagued by GPU artefacts *by W***! on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 8 November 2018* Cons:- slows down quickly while in use: it will get so lagging while playing back videos sometimes that it becomes difficult to even move the mouse pointer or click on an icon. Clearing the relative app's cache seems to help for a little while but not by much.- the GPU will often go haywire and fill the screen with checherboard-patterned artifacts that will cover the entire image, making it impossible to see. This has only happened with the YouTube official app so far but it happens regularly.- the stock YouTube app that comes pre-installed with the device is unusable, with it's weird interface and lack of functionality. Uninstalled quickly.- will often crash and restart, upon which the WiFi will fail to activate and will require a second restart to reboot it and get it to work properly.
