Crafted from durable stainless steel with a powder-coated finish, it offers superior rigidity and longevity compared to plastic mounts. Its adjustable angle feature allows for precise alignment with the water surface, optimizing sonar returns while minimizing drag. The included spray shield effectively reduces water spray at high speeds, ensuring clearer readings and a smoother boating experience. Backed by a 2-year limited warranty and highly rated by users, this mount is a must-have upgrade for serious boaters and anglers. ## Description Easily attach your compatible 4-, 8- or 12-pin transducer to the transom of your boat with this mount that provides excellent sonar returns at all speeds. Since the transducer is in the water at all times, the mount does not protect the transducer from underwater obstructions and some drag on the boat will occur. The included transducer spray shield reduces excessive water spray from your compatible transducer when your boat is running at high speeds. You also can mount the transducer to the step of your boat with this mount to allow angle adjustment of the transducer so it is parallel with the water surface; this will create no drag on the boat. And since the transducer is out of the water with this mounting style, sonar will not track bottom when the boat is on plane. ## Features - Item Package Dimension: 6.77L x 2.76W x 2.44H inches - Item Package Weight - 0.8 Pounds - Item Package Quantity - 1 - Product Type - GPS OR NAVIGATION SYSTEM ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B071NG24PH | | Best Sellers Rank | #52 in Marine GPS Accessories | | Brand | Garmin | | Brand Name | Garmin | | Color | Black | | Customer Reviews | 4.8 out of 5 stars 648 Reviews | | Finish Type | Powder Coated | | Finish Types | Powder Coated | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00753759171636 | | Included Components | Garmin Heavy Duty Transom Mount with Spray Sheild | | Item Depth | 5.7 centimeters | | Item Dimensions | 5.51 x 2.24 x 2.24 inches | | Item Type Name | Marine Accessory | | Item Weight | 6.4 ounces | | Item dimensions L x W x H | 5.51 x 2.24 x 2.24 inches | | Manufacturer | Garmin | | Manufacturer Part Number | 010-12006-11 | | Manufacturer Warranty Description | 2 year limited warranty | | Material | Plastic | | Material Type | Plastic | | Model Number | 101200611 | | Mounting Type | Transom Mount | | Set Name | Single Unit | | UPC | 753759178970 753759171636 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Garmin - **Color:** Black - **Item Weight:** 0.4 Pounds - **Item dimensions L x W x H:** 5.51 x 2.24 x 2.24 inches - **Material:** Plastic ## Images ![Garmin Heavy Duty Transom Mount with Spray Sheild - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61JW6qIsvqL.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: Will this work on a gt52 transducer?** A: Check the cable from your transducer that plugs into the back of your garmin unit. If the cable has 4,8, or12 contact pins, it will work. This is a much better mount than the one that comes with the unit. **Q: Will this fit a Striker Plus 4 Transducer?** A: This mount will fit the GT20-TM transducer, which is the one that comes with the Striker Plus 4. I have it and mounted it on my Railblaza Transducer Arm XL. This is also confirmed on the Garmin website **Q: can it be mounted backwards? Not that I want to do that but one review says the plate wont fit flush. It looks like he has the splash shield backwards** A: I don't think it could be mounted backwards unless it was really low under boat . The mounting plate is flat on the where it bolts on. **Q: will this fit a 73SV transducer?** A: I bought it as a recommendation to go with this unit Garmin Striker 4 with Portable Kit for my brother. I dont know if he has put it together or not. If your transducer is the same as the unit i got it for it probably will, but i dont know for sure. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.pe/products/72925702-garmin-heavy-duty-transom-mount-with-spray-sheild](https://www.desertcart.pe/products/72925702-garmin-heavy-duty-transom-mount-with-spray-sheild) --- *Product available on Desertcart Peru* *Store origin: PE* *Last updated: 2026-10-10*
