It seems crazy to pay $185 for pieces of cardboard, but I checked into all my options and this was actually the cheapest way I was going to get Pickleball lines. I first used a blower to get the court clean of any debris, and then started laying down the stencil pieces using a tape measure. Two friends helped me. You can do it with two people, but three was even better. I would not want to do it alone. I recommend watching the YouTube video to help you make sense of the instructions. We used blue painter's masking tape every three feet or so to hold down the stencil in position, obviously on the outside of the stencil to not block where the lines will be painted. Then one person held and moved the overspray box, one flipped the flaps, and one spray painted the lines. We moved along pretty quickly. The three cans of spray paint that were included were enough to do both sides of the court, plus I have a little left over. There is basically enough to paint each section of line with two quick passes, then move the overspray box, paint two quick passes, etc. All in all, it still took us a long time... about 3 hours start to finish, but some of that we spent discussing and consuming beverages. You could probably do it faster. But the lines turned out perfectly! And I have the template stored for future use. I actually plan to use a template piece to paint the straight sections of the basketball key (in a different color) on each side of my court, and my neighbor wants to borrow it to paint straight lines for 4-square for his kids. So yes, this cardboard is expensive.... but it works! ### ⭐⭐ Paint bleeds under cardboard along edges of lines *by M***A on Reviewed in the United States on January 10, 2019* We painted 2 courts (4 uses of stencil). First version the paint bled beneath the cardboard badly. Second round we taped more extensively which did not help much. Third and fourth go round we had two people pressing the cardboard down manually for each squirt of paint which seemed to help a bit but fumed us out. Next time we will use the stencil to draw lines and then tape and paint with a roller but pretty expensive stencil when you could measure out yourself. ### ⭐ Don't waste your money *by B***T on Reviewed in the United States on August 24, 2020* These stencils are not worth using. The sections are taped together with very flimsy masking tape and after one use was in a complete shambles. The paint that was included requires a special tool to be able to use the upside down cans and was not part of the kit. We didn't have this tool so we tried to use the cans by hand which proved impossible. Then, we decided to use our own paint and do it by hand.
