5年前に購入しました。据え置きのHDDから乗り換えたので、ほぼスマホくらいの軽量サイズに驚きました、どこでも持ち運べて大変便利でした。机からカーペットに何回か落としてしまうなど雑な扱いをしていたところ、基盤の損傷かマウントしなくなりました。軽量でも丁寧に暑かったほうが良いですね…。また、HDDの寿命は5年とのことなので、その前に買い直せばよかったと後悔しています…。しかも同じのを購入しようと思ったら金額が2倍以上になっており驚きました。(前は9000円台でしたよ…)ちなみに、MacBook Air(Apple M1,macOS Sonoma 14.8.4)でも問題なく動作していました。

先日届きました。iMacに使用しています。フォーマットする必要なく、繋げばすぐに使えます。起動音ほぼなく、めちゃくちゃ静かです。転送スピードもストレス感じてません。安定性もありそうで、4TB1万円くらいの安物を買うか迷いましたが、こちらを買ってよかったと思っております。ただ、付属のケーブルは全く使い物になりません。付属のケーブルを使用し接続しようとしたところ全く反応せず、最初はHDDが壊れているのかと思いましたが、ケーブルを家にあった他のものに変えたところ問題なく接続できました。試しに付属ケーブルでスマホを充電してみたところ、一瞬反応するもののすぐに接続切れを起こしていました。HDD自体は良い商品だと思いますが、付属のケーブルはあまりアテにしない方が良いかもしれません。

買ってから1年も経ってないのに壊れてPCで認識しなくなりました。Time Machineでバックアップするために購入して、コンパクトだし使い勝手も良く気に入っていたのですが、ちょっとしたことで強制的に接続が切れることが多く、そのせいかなと思っているのですが。ケーブルが良くないのかも？ここ数年で、外付HDDを何台買っても1年くらいで壊れるのが続いて、ゲンナリしています。何のためにバックアップしてるのかわからない…。次はSSDを使ってみます。
