**Q: Can these be used to store Isopropyl Alcohol for on to go first aid kit? How big is the tube and is it fragile or strong enough for extended use?**
A: I have noticed that the caps, while quite appropriate for water parameter test kits, would not be suitable for long-term storage of any liquid. They leak a bit.

**Q: What test tube rack would be best for these?**
A: I built my own. If you want a cheap hack, get a block of styrofoam and press the top of an open test tube into it at intervals to get the outer diameter perfect. Then cut out the styrofoam to the best depth. Test tubes fit snugly.

**Q: Do you sell just a box of replacement caps?**
A: If you looked for caps already and no results, that means that tubs with caps are sell together. No separate. You might want to contact the API and asked them directly.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Glass tubes for API test kits...

API test kits have switched over to using plastic vials. While less breakable, the plastic ones become stained if you dont promptly clean them out thoroughly. Also the plastic 5mm lines are often difficult to see. These glass tubes are the actual API tubes with the 5 mm fill lines and very secure caps. They are far easier to clean out than the plastic ones and if capped are less likely to spill. Now sure youll occassionally drop one and break it. But with this set you'll have plenty to replace broken ones and do as many tests as you want to compare before and after readings. I got a tube holder here on Amazon that also allows me to have several sets of the 7 tests I do displayed without risk of dropping them or knocking the off tables. Really is well worth having these if you do the API water testing much.
