Over $9.00 for a 12 oz can of Spam??** A: I was wondering the same thing - what am I missing? Spam is never this high for one! **Q: How can I be assured that the product is fresh and not approaching it's 'sell by' date?** A: It's spam! The expiration/best by/sell by dates are almost always much later on - at the very least 1-2 years. Obviously, this does not apply to every single can; but from my experience, you would have significantly sufficient time before the can approaches any of those dates. And hey: Worse comes to worst, you can return them if you do not like the nearness of the expiration/best by/sell by dates. P.S.
