Excellent pair of pruners. My wife and I found that we were fighting over this pair compared to the others we have so I decided to buy another pair - at the price you can't go wrong.Good to have the tensioner bolt as well as they can become loose after prolonged use (Ours haven't yet). The cutting and bypass edges seem very strong and durable and they cut through pretty thick stems with ease. I was worried they might be a bit small for my hands but they're absolutely fine.Time will tell if the spring mechanism holds out - that's the only thing that feels a little flimsy but we shall see.

I'm a pro gardener and just lost another pair of expensive Felcos. So decided to buy these as replacement until I decide on another more expensive pair. These are not for boys and you'll need a decent pair of hands to get a grip of them. They're large and won't be suitable for smaller hands or you'll need to choke down on them towards the anvil to close the angle on the grip. Failing that they're perfect for general pruning and reasonably made for a pair of backup secateurs. For the price and for a man with proper hands I'd definitely recommend them.

There are loads of options when buying secateurs, including cheaper and much more expensive. I have found the Darlac brand to deliver both decent quality performance and excellent value. Bit by bit, I'm replacing other brands with Darlac - that's an accolade.

Seem sturdy, easy to take apart to clean

There are glowing reviews for this on amazon and that is why I chose it. It is nicely made and could be repaired, sharpened etc. easily. There is nothing much to go wrong. I marked it down slightly as it didn't seem all that brilliant at cutting and it is a bit large and uncomfortable in my hand (a medium sized man's hand). That said, I am sure it will last and perhaps I'll come to love it. We'll see!

Seem good and much cheaper than Felco. However the closure catch is clumsy and obstructs when slipping them into a holster.
