It is solid, well made and easy to put together. The main body is fully assembled. Great product. I think the only negative thing I can think of is that there is a bit of a gap between the seat and the back rest when the bench is flat to do bench presses. It's not a big deal but I am 5' 11" and I seem to want to place my midsection right on the opening. I still love it and think this bench is way worth the price.
