Others have commented on how loud it is, and it IS loud, but I got used to it after a few uses. Despite the noise, it's a very nice massage mat. I was a bit skeptical of vibration vs. kneading, but again, after a few uses I got used to that too, and now may prefer vibration. It's super flexible (I've rolled it up to use solely on lower back and it feels NICE.) If you use it for more than 30 min then I'd suggest putting the heat on low as it can get quite hot, particularly on the rear end. The kneading neck and shoulder attachment is a really nice feature and does work well on other parts of the body. More individualized heat control would have been nice...being able to localize heat as well as all nodes heating would have made this mat exceptional instead of just really nice. I got this mat on a deep discount for $55 and it was well worth that.
