The tube colour seems to be pretty good - to be picky it's perhaps a tad too far towards the bluer end of daylight for my taste. The grid over the tubes keep the light focussed down and prevents it from spilling on to screens and in to your eyes.Unfortunately each tube emits a buzz and, with three tubes, that's three times the buzz. It's fixed to my desk and hangs about a foot away from my ears - the buzz is distracting.
