Makers of fine Theremins for decades. In use the world over. Battery operated and will last a year or more on a common 9 volt. Simple and compact design with easy access battery door unlike similar Theremins that require disassembly to replace the battery. A common 9 volt cell will last so long that it becomes useless to add a power supply cord. No extra cords to get in your way! Good sounding signal and standard output level to drive your amplifier. Mic stand mountable. (Stand not included) Automatically turns on when guitar cord inserted and turns off when cord is removed. Rugged and proven sound quality. Wide selection of setting positions due to the modular design. Set the two units near together or far apart for your playing comfort unlike many Theremin designs that do not provide enough space between the two antennas. Each antenna can be set to its own individual height and distance apart. The two units can also be separated and used independently. The pitch can be used by itself or the volume can be used on any pitch style Theremin or optical Theremin. The knob on the pitch unit adjusts starting pitch, sensitivity and null point. the knob on the volume unit is the final volume control. Can also be set horizontally on mic stand to play in a vertical motion. Pitch range is easily set for a comfortable 2.5 feet (arm's length) and can be adjusted to act in the opposite manner. Plug it into your favorite guitar stompbox. We run it through a Boss ME50 and dial up some delay, a little overdrive and a taste of chorus, and A/B it with a Strat. With a bit of practice, its possible to switch between the two in a way that makes the Theremin sound like an otherworldly extension of the guitar. Very nice. I was a little confused by the instruction sheet but figured it out after playing around with it and getting it to perform appropriately. I recommend purchasing it with the mic stand attachment because once you attach a cable to it the unit will move because of the cable weight.
