The power supply is external, which removes a lot of the weight as well. The 3-LED signal indicator on EACH channel is an absolute game changer though. The only thing I wish it would do is charge an iPad or iPhone if used to run backing tracks (Loop Community Prime App for example). Otherwise, I'm glad there is a playback interface out there, with 8 balanced XLR jacks and USB hub out there for under $500. Have used for a month now.
