Love these great audio no frills headset
I've used a PC media center 5.1 sound sound system for a long time, but my situation changed and I needed a headset with good audio quality for watching movies, listening to music etc., plus playing games (Fallout). I read a review for this headset on the PC Gamer website in which they used high tech gear to test the audio quality of about 26 headsets, scoring for audio quality, comfort, mic quality and a few other criteria. Overall this set ranked right at the top in areas important to me primarily being audio quality. On other sites, I read very mixed reviews and figured those reviewers had far different criteria than me, and decided to get them anyway. I'm really glad I did. They are very comfortable, well made and the sound quality is great. They don't have some of the frills other gaming headsets have like Bluetooth, a detachable mic, cool buttons and lights but those headsets seem to prioritize bells and whistles over audio quality. This company put their money into quality sound drivers, good design choices and high quality construction. I don't really use the mic but it folds up out of the way and I don't even know it's there. A reviewer out there indicated the total volume capability is weak but I disagree, unless you want to destroy your hearing. This headset spec doesn't claim to be "surround sound", but researching the subject revealed that unless you have a number of individual speakers in the headset speaker "can" they synthesize surround sound using software anyway. Individual speaker headsets with true surround sound have a reputation for muddled sound quality. Listen to the Youtube video "Virtual Barbershop" and you'll see that stereo headsets can deliver the same surround sound quality because it's something that happens in your brain anyway. Long and short - for about $85 and change you're getting high quality audio gear that's great for gaming, too.

An OK Headset
I recently bought this headset thinking I could wear it for hours upon hours non-stop. I am afraid to say that this is not the case. I'm going to be breaking this up into peices.First, the sound quality is very good. I don't have any troubles hearing things and the bass is not too boomy as some other gaming headsets have. I am satisfied with the sound quality and it's the reason I gave this 4 starts instead of 3.Second, the comfortability of this headset is really good on the top, but it hurts my ears after wearing it for an hour or so.Lastly comes the built quality. The build quality is pretty sturdy. You can bend this thing almost flat it seems. But, there is some flaws. There is a sort of rubberized coating on it and it has started to chip after about a week of me having it.Overall I am going to return this headset because, well, it's simply not for me. I really enjoy this headset and think it's a good headset for someone without overly sized ears. I think I might pick up a pair of HyperX Cloud's or something similar.

Great quality headphones that have sound quality to much more expensive ones.
Sound quality is much better that more expensive headsets, and I'd put it up near the $150-$200+ variants. Quality of the headset is really nice, and I like the soft coating over the plastic that gives it a nice feel. The earpieces and the headrest cushions are very comfortable and are a bit heavy as others mentioned but the cushioning on the ears and head made up for it.The only thing I didn't like was the microphone. Sometimes when I lowered the mic it caused me to hear some static through the earphones, but others did not hear it while gaming and it did not pick up while recording. I didn't have this problem at all while the mic was up (I don't think the mic even works in the up position anyways).

Premium feel, OK durability, Would not pay full price for
In the 10 months that I've had it, it's been very good and taken a lot of accidental cord pulling (because I like to keep the longer cord short). However, probably due to the cord pulling, I've noticed that when the mic is fully down, that it doesn't transmit any sound. So I have to keep it slightly above it's lowest resting point, which is fine because it has no problems staying there. So I would recommend utilizing it's longer cord so as to keep the risk of pulling it and damaging the wiring low. After 10 months of heavy use, the thin top coat of rubber-like film has started to peel off the top of the headsetSummary:Sound Quality: 7/10Mic receive quality: 8/10Build quality: 7/10

Amazing product, poorly executed
Amazing audio quantity and microphone sound capture quality.Unfortunately assembly and/or material quality is subpar, causing original and replacement units to fail.Faux leather flakes of ear cushions, mic mute switch can get stuck, speaker possible to acquire plastic fizz noise.Noticed manufacturer did a direct clearance sale (picked up 3rd NASH) but seems these are currently discontinued. Still, looking forward to their next headset release.

Great quality analog PC gaming headset for the price.
I bought my first set of these a few years ago after dissatisfaction with a couple other brands and after having read the Maximum PC [now online on PC Gamer.com] article: "We tested 23 mainstream gaming headsets to find the best" by Tuan Nguyen May 11, 2016, which featured results using analytical equipment analysis. I wanted a decent PC gaming headset without spending over $100.00. I liked the streamlined, subtle look and solid, no-nonsense features. These exceeded my expectations in sound quality, comfort and durability. Lasted at least 5,000 hours plus of gaming over the years without any discomfort or problems. Production of this model has ceased, so I bought this set to break out when Cyberpunk 2077 finally releases.

My opinion
Make my ears hurt after awhile of wearing them other then that it sounds and feels good the only problem I have with it is that you need two headphone jacks to work both the mic and the sound itself. So it is not suitable for a PlayStation controller so I had to go out and buy a pc for the headphone 😂👍

So underrated.
MIONIX are very underrated. This headset is no exception. And for the price I paid, £30.99, NO WAY you will find better than this, not with todays over priced 'gaming' garbage. This is a very solid headset. RECOMMENDED.

Not Happy!
It has been two months and the mic is not working anymore. It started a month ago, the mic was having trouble to be pick up by the computer. By changing the mic of port and fiddling a little bit with the setup, we managed to make it work. But now, it seems to work less and less, like the connection inside for the mic is getting torn by using the flip-microphone. Otherwise, the headphone are comfortable, the sound clear and they block outside noise nicely. Just wish for the price, it wouldn't break so easily and so fast.
