Let me clear everything up here. First of all, it's real leather as far as I can tell. It is lambskin I believe so its on the lighter side. Secondly, if you're going for a more stylish fit, SIZE DOWN. If you're going for a nice relaxed and functional fit, SIZE UP. I am 5'11" and 130 (skinny guy) and an XS gave me the slim fitted look I was going for. Overall I love this jacket and I'm glad I decided on this one. I've since seen this jacket in a lot of fashion blogs and such, so if you're looking for that stylish biker jacket this is the one for you.
