They test better compared to tea bags, but the main issue is that they tend to be expensive. I drink a lot of tea since my husband and I don't drink coffee, about 1,700 ml a day between us when we have loose leaf tea available. Once it runs out, we try to find good sources at our local Homegoods/Marshalls. But this requires a trip to the mall and is just overall inconvenient for just tea. I was searching for a loose tea brand on Amazon that I can just order again and again. I found that very thing in Tiesta Tea. I ordered their Passion Berry Jolt tea. Although not the best in flavor compared to other teas I've had (Mighty Tea is probably the best I've found, but they're pretty expensive), I think it still tastes delicious, 4.7/5 stars in taste. They offer great sizing options and have quite the variety! A 4oz tin for $10, and 16oz for $25! Wow, I think I've finally settled down on a brand that I can buy continuously without braking bank and has good flavor. There other flavors may be $13 for a 4oz tin, but I think that's still relatively cheap.In regard to the Passion Berry Jolt specifically, it does it's job. It gives a good amount of caffeine without the jitters, keeps me awake while working from home. Doesn't taste bitter, has good depth from the black tea, but has high notes with from the fruit and flower bits. It's a wonderful blend, would definitely recommend. The tin itself is sturdy, love that you can view how much tea you have left by the clear side panel, very cool. Opening it is a cinch.
