**Q: Is it suitable for outdoor use?**
A: In a shaded area it will do. Rain will cause the wood to rot

**Q: Can this frame be used on a table / desk or does it need to be mounted?**
A: You might want to buy an easel-style frame if you plan to use it on a table or desk--it would need the angled presentation to avoid tipping over.  We much prefer hanging them in a pair on the wall next to our staghorn ferns.

**Q: What type of wood is this made of?  i know it says the color is teak but that doesn’t mean it’s teak.**
A: I’m not very familiar with teak so i can’t 100% say that it’s real but it looks real to me. It seems to be a dense wood but also very light weight.  Sorry, hope that helps.

**Q: What are the 2 white plastic things for that have sharp metal nails in them?**
A: Hi. The white plastic thing is seamless hook, match with the serrated hook on the back of this air plant frame. We have updated the picture, you can also see the installation steps in the picture.

The square slots on the frame are pretty big, so most air plants purchased at a store will just fall though. Even the larger ones I did purchase online are about to fall out the back. I might have to fun a wire in back to give them something to rest against. Cute frame otherwise, seems sturdy enough, just a bit big.
