I searched high and low for these types of plates and finally found them here. I was hesitant because the may be deemed unsightly and they frankly seemed a bit small. I took the plunge and bought them anyway.They're just ok. They're heavy and seem like they can be easy to break. In addition, it's very confusing because it says it's two plates plus a free plate. So I thought it was 2 Focus 9" plates and a free plate. Well, it turns out that it's just ONE 9" plate and ONE small free plate and not TWO 9" plates. That's misleading and false advertising. So the price essentially doubled which made having them not worth it. I mean, come on, the plates with extra words and lines across is already a 4x premium than a regular plate and then now you only send me one?! It's not only 4x premium on the plate price itself but it's also heavy and will break if I drop it.To summarize: great idea but pricey. I added an extra star for benefit of the doubt. I want to support the idea as it's great but the durability and price point just isn't there.FYI - it is not TWO plates of the 9" Focus + one free green rimmed plate as a bonus. It's ONE 9" Focus + ONE "free" small plate = TWO plates. SIGH. False, misleading, or unclear advertising - take your pick.I did not receive a discount or get these plates for free. This review is my genuine, 100% honest opinion - I hope it was helpful for you! I paid for this with my own hard earned money! I order this one thinking it's the same, but it's not. First off back of plate does not have the raise ridge around it and does NOT say "Microwave and dishwasher safe - Lead and Cadmium Free" plus this new plate is way thinner and not porcelain. Not sure what it's made of. Very disappointed. I will keep simply because I threw away packaging thinking it was the same and now I don't have anything to pack it in to return it.
