its a great well written book. It teaches everything you need to know to make a knife. Including building the forge and basic metallurgy, She humbly interviews some top knife makers. Laura goes over design and gives really good advice on how to design a knife. Her story of her first knife is cool. She is a real adventurer! I just got into knifemaking in the Fall of 22. This was one of a handful of books I purchased on knifemaking and has been a go-to resource for me so far. It has step by step details for each process along with an ample amount of photos to reference from. While there are alot of other books available on the market on the topic, for the price point, quality, and material presented, this book is a good purchase.
