    This Socket is for 1/2 O.D.  1/4 I.D.  threaded rod, It is larger than most stores sell.

For the 1/2" O.D.  1/4" I.D.  threaded rod on Lamp, which is what I needed. Lamp is working now!Most hardware stores carry the smaller diameter size. Make sure you know which size you have before you buy.

    Replacement for Rembrandt lamps mogul base

There are no mogul base LED bulbs, that I am aware of. So the only option with mogul base Rembrandt lamps is to replace the three way Mogul socket with a three way medium base socket. The problem is that the mounting stem is based on 1/4"Pipe thread while standard the way sockets are based upon 1/8"Pipe thread. This socket solved that problem.  Be aware that not all LED three way bulbs will fit, depending upon your lamp you may need to find a bulb with a longer base, mine just barely fit.

This worked as advertised.  I appreciated that the specified the 1/4" IPS connection size.  The plastic a heavy duty and looks to be durable.  Recommend.
