Instructions that came with the product were lack luster. I went straight to youtube and found some great videos that helped. You are provided with the right tools to do the job. I never felt like I was going to strip a screw. I would recommend a very sharp blade or knife for the glued components as the pick probably won't do the job. What is the rubber silicone stand for? I have no idea. The hardest part will be putting the earpiece, proximity sensor, and front camera together. It's really a pandora's box, but if you are dexterous you can figure it out. Be careful with the screws, they are tiny and easy to lose. Luckily this kit comes with a magnetic screwdriver which helps tremendously. As far as quality, my screen worked right away. My only complaint is the contrast/brightness seems slightly different, and there is a single white hotspot near the top of my screen. I would say this is a good product at less than half of Apple's replacement cost, but the quality is 85% of the real thing. If you aren't good with your hands or small parts, or if you can't be gentle, screen replacement is not for you. This is a very delicate process. Instructions, no problem, just googled it and you get the knowledge. This was my first attempt on working with such small component's and it took me a couple of hours to work on it. You will have to use the plastic parts (3) from your broken phone to transfer them onto the new phone, along with the metal plate. Don't forget to remove the cover for the ear piece, that's what I did and make sure your camera is centered before closing it. It requires a lot of patience and a steady hand. The plastic tool that came with it, broke on the edge. You only it to used it once and it performed its function. Why bother paying a $100, when you can spend some time with this one. My son didn't believe it was the same phone, probably because the button didn't make a clicking sound after transferring it.
