I purchased these to enhance the chrome on my 1995 Harley Sportster, and Rolite was not the first brand I bought. Here I have an example using a 50 year old construction level. I have been so pleased, and amazed with the quality and capacity if Rolite that I've taken the time to post a real life comparison. The red tube, is Pro Honda Metal Polish and Restorer, recommended by a longtime motorcycle enthusiast that has trophies that represent "show" bikes. This product was more expensive than Rolite, and I have used it on several different surfaces, not just the brass you see here. The other product is White Diamond Metal Polish. Both tests were performed using basic supplies, one paper towel of the same brand folded the same number of times. Product was applied and allowed to sit for several seconds before beginning to clean. By far, Rolite is the best for cleaning all metal surfaces, but especially those that have the ability to shine. The White Diamond performed considerably well, the Pro Honda did not. Keep in mind that these photos are after using Rolite "Pre" Polish.
