However, that said, my Insinkerator lasted 20 years with no breakdown until now. Surprisingly, the Max-3 retrofit my Insinkerator's mounting hardware, so I didn't need to redo the drain (plumber's putty, etc) . It's quiet and smooth sounding. So far, I'm happy with it. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfect fit! *by on Reviewed in Canada 20 August 2025* This was a perfect drop-on swap for a 444 Insinkerator, no plumbing changes required at all.
