Its exactly what I had in mind for a vest. It carries plenty of water along with a few snacks, cell phone (bigger than an iPhone 6 probably won’t fit), keys, and a rear pocket behind the bladder pocket for whatever else. I bought it for the longer runs but have ended up using it for all runs due to the convenience of the pockets (prefer over armband) and because it’s simply not a problem to wear. When full of water it’s 5 lbs so I also like the bit of extra weight for training. I’ve never had another running vest so can’t compare it but this is excellent for my needs.
