They seem the same based upon the description.** A: The 'E' stands for 'Environment', any strings with this prefix should have no plastic packaging. **Q: Can these strings be used in a tenor guitar?** A: I do not see why not. 4 string tenor CGDA or if you like Irish tuning try the GDAE string both cheap enough to try them out. The 5 string sets will not be good **Q: Are these for gdae banjo?** A: Yes, indeed-O! These are great strings (I prefer the medium weight). **Q: Can these be used on a banjolele?** A: I had to look it up. A banjolele is a ukulele with a banjo body. It uses normal ukulele strings (typically nylon), not steel banjo strings.
