I much prefer it to the 9023 (which I returned) and 9055 (which I currently own), as it has better build quality, all controller functions work as they should, and the build quality feels sturdier than both of the Ipegas.I would give it a 5 star rating, but it had two quirks, both of which are currently resolved:1. It took me almost 30 minutes to setup the controller initially; for some reason it kept showing an error message with my Kindle Fire HD. The Ipegas both connected instantly. I tried for a good while before it finally connected. There were also a few adjustments I had to make so that the thumbstick worked like a real analog thumbstick (versus a 4-way D-pad), but this was explained clearly in the instruction manual. Ever since the initial connection with the Kindle, it syncs flawlessly.2. The D-pad was not 100% responsive initially & would frequently miss presses. However, after some use (including me circling my thumb around the pad many times), it seems to have "warmed up" and functions perfectly.As of right now, I consider it a 5-star controller. The 4-star rating is simply because of a day or two of frustrations before everything was running at 100%. I highly recommend this controller. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Trouble setting it up, but now it works better than I'd hoped. *by A***K on Reviewed in the United States on March 21, 2018* Took a little troubleshooting to get it to work, but it's turned my Galaxy Tab S2 into one of my favorite mobile gaming devices. Recently took it on a plane and was able to set up my tablet on the back of a seat while I sat back and played video games while I sat back in my seat and relaxed. Airport security asked me where the Nintendo logo was. Little bit of hassle getting it to connect but now it works better than expected! ### ⭐ Dead after three months *by F***K on Reviewed in the United States on November 5, 2018* Turn your phone into a game console like the Switch, sounds too good to be true? They almost achieved it with this controller but major flaws keep it from being a gamers perfect gadget. First let me say that I did enjoy this product even faced with it's limitations. Notable flaws in the design make it impossible to use headphones or charge your phone while you're playing. Kind of annoying to have to turn down the volume of your game in a public place. It would be great if there was a headphone jack with a feature to pass through the sound with Bluetooth. Games also drain battery life so the option to charge while playing would be welcome. The plastic is very flimsy, definitely not the quality you see with first party controllers on the Switch. The joysticks are not analog, making driving games and first person shooters very hard to play. The comfort in your hands is great and the position of the screen perfect. It's easy to connect and games that support controllers detect it automatically. The app the company suggest to map buttons for games that don't support controllers is garbage. I wish there was better options out there but for screen position and comfort during long gaming sessions this is the best. If only it didn't die after three months of sporadic use I'd still be enjoying it today. One day I turned it on and the left joystick and left d-pad button didn't work. The reset button or changing game modes didn't help. Would give four stars if it didn't fail. Edit: I found that the buttons work if I don't stretch out the controller, meaning that it still works without a phone in it. This means it's the stretch mechanism that is faulty and loses connection between the two sides of the controller. This is very bad quality control from the manufacturer and I can't use it the way it was intended to.
