Less than 8 hrs of usage and my MacBook Pro 2017 had a failed USB-C port. Fortunately I have AppleCare which means fixes would be far less expensive, but stay away from this product. ### ⭐ Steer clear of this product! *by S***Y on July 3, 2018* STEER CLEAR! I was one of their backers on Kickstarter when they first started. Eventually received device but it used to make a crackling noise when connected. It eventually burned itself out after two months with a scorched/burned smell.Reached out to them and after about 20 emails asking for pictures, they finally responded that they would either refund my $30 Kickstarter pledge or I could upgrade for an additional $10, to the new and improved Snapnator Pro. Having good faith I opted to upgrade to the Snapnator Pro. I had the Snapnator Pro for about 2 weeks and all of a sudden my Macbook Pro wouldn't charge or recognize that anything was plugged into it. I took it to the Genius Bar at Apple and they confirmed what I had suspected. The Snapnator Pro had taken out both USB-C ports on my computer. The device needed a whole new logic board!!! My computer was less than a year old and thank God was covered by warranty. Snapnator is now 0/2. If they answer emails it's asking for pictures. When you send pictures they don't respond. I'm still out $40.
