Review: Great Deal! - Overall, this is a great deal. The camera I received appears to be brand new. It came in the original box and not a single scratch or mark on it. Everything seems to work perfectly so far. The battery (also genuine Canon) was not charged, but I don’t know if any of them ever are when shipping. Be aware that this camera is configured for “international”, not “US”. So, the video shooting mode defaults to PAL only (no NTSC). It doesn’t offer the NTSC frame rates of 30 or 60 FPS; only offers 25 and 50 FPS. You will need to go into the Tools menu (the one with a wrench icon) and change the video recording mode from PAL to NTSC. Then, you’ll have options for 24, 30, and 60 FPS.
