There was very little space for the hands/fingers.I had to remove some material from the front of the slots for the tray to sit lower to give adequate clearance for the user's hands to fit around the walker hand grips.Additionally, like the other reviewer who used hose clamps to make "stops", I used clear PVC tubing and zipties to make stops or bumpers on the front walker tubes to ensure that my elderly parents can easily place the front of the tray down against these stops, then lower the black rubber bumpers at the back of the tray down onto the back tubes. Doing this ensures that the tray sits level and securely on the walker. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best universal walker tray *by S***N on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on March 7, 2015* Worked very well for moving things around the house while I was recovering from a hip transplant. Very stable.Supplement. Five years later, I bought another one, having lent the first to a friend who loves it. Used mine this year at the nursing & rehab center where I went to recover from two knee replacement surgeries, and want to have it available when I return in two weeks for recovery from a hip replacement surgery, so bought another. What I like best about this tray is the indentation on the body side of the tray that lets the user get inside the walker a bit, for better stability. Other trays may have more space on top, but the force the user to walk behind the walker in a forward leaning position. The tray is easy to pop on, stable, and easy to store.
