A: Apple, mic on shield.  It comes with a reversing cable for ground on shield

**Q: Will this work with a TYT md380u dogital radio?**
A: No will not work with any radio because PTT button does not work

**Q: Can't get it to work with Apple Earbuds with 3.5 mm jack? Is there a specific earbud that works with these? Thanks**
A: Mine works with a Sony headphone and a Sony earbud. If you have a headphone with a 3.5 MM Jack I would try that and if it doesn’t work I would think that you’re adapter is defective.
