Fuse the pieces to the teflon sheet creating the whole applique piece, peel off and transfer to final placement on backing fabric, and fuse to the fabric again with iron. Nothing sticks to the teflon heat-resistant sheet. I highly recommend this product. See attached photo of applique project with 60 pieces fused together with a hot iron on top of the teflon sheet.
