No, this kind of strap isn't like a normal metal bracelet that pulls the hair. It doesn't pull the hair on my wrist.

I can't tell. The case is labeled WATER RESISTANT with no further specification. It doesn't look like it was made to be immersed in water but it is a very nice watch, and it is one of the most accurate quartz watches I own, despite being one of the cheapest.

Q: can I change the strap for a leather strap?

Yes, the strap can be replaced like in any other watch. It might look a lot better with a black leather strap.

Nice watch, tricky strap!

The watch looks good and keeps good time but, as previous reviewers have mentioned, its strap has problems: in my case, sometimes failing to lock properly so that the watch comes off the wrist.
